The first #sourdough #bread loaf came out ok. Not as sour as I would have preferred but I figured out how to fix that.
I always hated just throwing away the discard and didn't want a long recipe to use with it. A quick search found this super easy cracker #recipe with no fuss.
Bonus: I used some of the #cajun #seasoning I picked up in #NewOrleans where I bought my kid some #alligator #jerky.

Finally got around to baking the King Arthur Flour, Giant Hostess Cupkake. Looks like it was decorated by an 8 year old but that's about right given the mindset that I was in when I decided to make it.

I tried to bake a traditional german Osterzopf (easter braid), but ah well, it rather turned out as an easter blob. Maybe I have to practice baking, I quite enjoyed it, it was an adventure.

acted more like a icing than a frosting for the longest time but did finally firm up
this being a very old recipe I think we’re looking at old tablespoons for the milk
