Those who deal with #Android apps such as #AntennaPod getting killed all the time on #GrapheneOS while running in the background should consider disabling "Secure App spawning" (Settings -> Security & Privacy -> Exploit protection). I have been wondering months about how to get this sorted out and apparently so have many other users if you take a look at the AntennaPod issue tracker.

As an #AntennaPod user I noticed I download episodes beforehand so I can play them from the Downloads section.

This allows picking episodes when I have the brain for that, and spares me the choice pollution when I have the time for listening.
Am I holding it wrong? Fedi, how do use the feature or handle this?

Installing FOSS apps on your phone sometimes certainly feels like an eternal XKCD 927 purgatory.

- Apps by GrapheneOS for some GrapheneOS apps (and assorted other apps).
- Obtainium for installing apps directly from source/repos.
- Neo Store for installing apps who cannot be arsed to have .apk files in their repos (#AntennaPod), yet without dealing with the typical F-Droid shenanigans.
- Accrescent, because hell, why not! The more, the merrier!
- And, of course, Google Play Store for the corporate goblins.

Ab heute höre ich #festundflauschig nur noch über #antennapod . Echt klasse, dass sie das auch ohne #spotify verteilen. Am meisten hat in der Spotify App der komische #Untertitel genervt.
