The ONLY time a car manufacturer shuts down a line "for a week" is because it can't get parts it needs.

Business Insider · Tesla tells Model Y, Cybertruck workers to take a week offVon Grace Kay

"#Tesla launched a single new model in the last five years, the #Cybertruck, which was a commercial flop.

"At some point, shareholders must wake up and realize that Musk is destroying Tesla’s EV business and that self-driving vehicles are not coming to save the day."

The futuristic-looking Tesla Cybertruck is reportedly facing a monumental challenge as its inventory in the United States has ballooned to over 10,000 units. This suggests a big slowdown in demand for the apparently highly anticipated electric truck, raising a lot of questions about its real market reception.

Data from Tesla-Info.com indicates a sharp rise in Cybertruck listings within a single month. While part of this surge could be attributed to an actual increase in the number of vehicles available, it appears that Tesla is also employing big price reductions across different configurations. These varying discounts create multiple listings for essentially the same vehicle, possibly inflating the inventory numbers.

With an average selling price hovering around $78,000, this stockpile represents a big chunk of capital, potentially reaching close to $800 million worth of unsold Cybertrucks. Industry observers suggest that the growing inventory is more likely a consequence of sluggish sales rather than a sudden spike in production. In fact, there are indications that Tesla has deliberately reduced the Cybertruck production rate in recent months.

"...This isn’t a one-off, either. Watch the viral videos, scroll through the ‘CyberStuck’ subreddit, or ask the California Highway Patrol. They’re all racking up stories of Cybertrucks left high, dry, and humiliated...."

@ai6yr @breadandcircuses and then we get some old (pre-) #Boomers teasing us #Millenials with something halfway cool just to then give us the finger with an absurdly high pricetag of € 111.000 and only 200 available for purchase.

Instead of #SuerUselessVehicles we need #PersonalLightVehicles, and I know #EcoHipster will hate me for it but a #TataNano or my used #Corsa D 1.0 will habe way less impact on the envoirment than any #CyberTruck because it ain't a fucking #WankPanzer / #IncelCar but I do at leasr try to max efficiency on every trip by asking before going if.I should get something.(on the way back)...
