Vystopia is cruel and real.

It’s true. Because I decided to reduce my own personal damaging to other animals (to a minimum hence the definition of #veganism) my family and friends (most of them) hurt me tremendously but mostly unintentionally.

It’s called #vystopia but I would never ever go back to #carnism.

Going to a #polo match today which, as a #vegan, makes me super uncomfortable.

If it were up to me, I wouldn’t go. But we are with friends who have a polo player in their family, and they want to go.

I really don’t want to ruin everyone’s day by being salty about it, but also don’t want to be a hypocrite and go along with it. It was only yesterday my husband said we don’t go to Sea World because we feel sorry for the dolphins and orcas. The cognitive dissonance is right there!
