At the end of October 2023, we drove 164 kilometers to Trondheim and needed nearly 2:30 hours to reach the city. While we ventured through the area we saw different things but one of the most iconic sceneries I knew from Trondheim was finally photographed today.

Winding its way along the Nidarosdomen park and picturesque areas, with the historic, wooden wharf houses lining its sides towards the mouth at the Trondheimsfjord, and the beautiful, wooden bridge “Gamle Bybro” crossing it, the scenic Nidelva river is a wonderful template for many famous pictures of this scenery you may have stumbled upon!

Having seen this, one part of my traveling bucket list was finished today! ✅

My daughter will study one semester at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (#NTNU) in #Trondheim (#Norway), between August 2025 and January 2026. 🇳🇴😍

It looks like she can't get a student apartment despite being there with #Erasmus+, European programme for education, because it’s a short period of time. 😞

Has anyone here on Mastodon already been in this situation, and would have advices about how to find an apartment in Trondheim from France?

Please RT 🙏

Trondheim today. Took ourselves to the art museum first (a Munch and a Vigeland piece were the highlights), then Nideros Cathedral, the Regalia Museum, an archaeological museum, and some time escaping the rain in a craft ale bar. Surprise!

Just leaving now, predicted 4 metre swells tonight so it's going to get rocky aboard. The way we like it. Sea day tomorrow and then we'll be hitting Tromsø.
