Brought the Bard back for Thought Bubble in Harrogate!

I created a Bluesky account after reconnecting with many friends and peers over #ThoughtBubble weekend, which really did make me realise how much I missed catching up and discovering new art!

I will be using it cautiously - I am aware it is vernerable to enshittification like all the others.

I will continue to use and recommend Mastodon for many reasons but the reality is that most folks I know haven't made it over here.

Starting to pack up my prints into little bundles in prep for #Thoughtbubble con in Harrogate next month!

I have some new sticker designs and a couple new mini zines to debut so I thought it would be good to spend some time snazzing up my display options. Sadly no online shop this year but the con should hopefully be fun.

Had a profound case of imposter syndrome on stream today; someone came in and asked me for advice for getting started in comics... as I was drawing a panel from page 8 of my own very first comic. I have no clue what I'm doing, just making it up as I go.

I ended up regurgitating the best piece of advice I heard at #thoughtbubble last year: "Just do it."

And so do it I did.

I hope they do, too.

Attending Thought Bubble this year was a joy, and our Artist Trading Cards went down a treat. Thank you to everyone who came by our table and said hello!

Thought Bubble is once again finished for the year and I have a lot of thoughts and feelings.

This particular festival ended up feeling slightly different from the rest(in a good way). I'm not quite sure why, but I think I've had a change of perception on my own work.

I dunno... all I knew is I didn't come away thinking badly of my work, which is a plus.
