Respin for this with added Hardware EQ. I have noticed that the well mastered records sound good even with the Schiit Lokius off but these headphones bass is quite dull without it on.

A killer sounding reissue of an essential early #80s #postpunk record. Every song is a slayer, particularly the David Bowie-penned “Repetition”.

When I heard that MOV was going to reissue it, I got very excited, because I knew it would sound really good. It was just a matter of whether or not I’d get my hands on one of the 750 copies. Mission accomplished!

Such a great band.

Wir älteren erklären das bitte den Jüngeren. ( sorry, den konnte ich mir jetzt nicht verkneifen, und, manchmal kommt es mir tatsächlich so vor.)

So ist das eben, wenn Kunst zur Ware gemacht wird. Und eben nicht mehr wertgeschätzt wird als das, was sie gedacht und gemacht war oder ist. Wenn Genuß einfach nur Konsum wird.

Damals, da gab es auch schon Bestrahlung vom (privaten *UND* auch vom öffentlich-rechtlichen!) "Dudelfunk", aber fing damals erst an und ist mit den Auswüchsen heute längst nicht vergleichbar.

Bevor ich mich ins Schwafeln verliere: Ich weiß gar nicht, warum ich oben einen Auszug zitiere - Deinem Post kann ich in Gänze zustimmen.

Und nu oute ich mich mal: Deutsche Radiostationen höre ich gar nicht mehr, vom #DeutschlandRadio mal abgesehen. Finde ich "das Netz" auch nicht mehr wirklich segensreich, höre ich aber doch ein paar Internetradios - liebevoll handgetöpferte Kanäle einiger "Opas" meines Alters, wo Dir noch was zu den Titeln erzählt wird und diese nur zu oft auch direkt von "Platte" oder MC gespielt werden und nicht nur aus digitalen Konserven.

Sonstige "Beschallung" passiert bei mir weitestgehend analog von Vinyl, MC oder Band. Und auch das, wenn ich gerade richtig Lust drauf habe - nie als "Dauerbestrahlung".

Nachdem ich heute erleben musste, wie die Musik meiner jüngeren Jahre mittels Computer und grauenhaften Stimmen in Coverversionen übelst verknotet wurde, muss jetzt was ordentliches ins Ohr. Auf dem Drehteller drehen sich heute die Scheiben einer der bemerkenswertesten und erfolgreichsten englischen Synth-Pop-Bands überhaupt. Wir haben gefeiert zu Songs wie Personal Jesus, Master and Servant oder People are People.
Ein wirklicher Fan von Depeche Mode war ich nie, aber ihre Songs gehörten zu meiner Jugendzeit wie der erste Alk-Rausch, die erste Zigarette und der erste Knutsch. Ich erinnere mich an Dorffeste, deren größte Attraktion der Autoscooter mit seinen Lichtern und eben der Musik auch von Dave Gahan und seiner Truppe war.

Rosnes-led female jazz collective, overflowing with talented players (some previously featured) including Melissa Aldana (sax), Anat Cohen (clarinet), Ingrid Jensen (trumpet), Noriko Ueda (bass), Allison Miller (drums), and Cécile McLorin Salvant.

It'd be hard to screw that up. They definitely do not: great album.
