@MissConstrue @Janeishly I’m glad I live in a civilised country. A democracy, where such a thing is unthinkable. Unfortunately the US now are a police state, not a democracy.
I was a teacher. The first thing I’d have organized is a good hiding place in the School for all kids who could be targeted by the fascist. Lock the schools doors, and while ICE tries to enter, you hide the kids. Like under the Nazis and the Gestapo, but I guess that’s what the US have become.

Seit Trump ins Amt eingeführt wurde und den Milliardär-Oligarchen Elon Musk mit seinem Hacker-Team dazugeholt hat, um viele Programme und Behörden der US-Bundesregierung zu zerschlagen, sind Trump und sein Team wie ein Schnellfeuer vorgerückt, um die Opposition zu verwirren mit einem andauernden Strom von empörenden Aussagen, rechtswidrigen Durchführungsverordnungen, Kündigung tausender Bundesangestellter und Mittelkürzung für Dienstleistungen.
Das Regime verfolgt eine Strategie der „Gebietsüberflutung“ (flood the zone), um Medien und Opposition mit „Furcht und Schrecken“ (shock-and-awe) abzulenken, zu verwirren und zu überwältigen. Die Taktik von Drohung und Einschüchterung zielt auf eine Lähmung durch Angst ab. Daher ist es um so wichtiger zu betonen, dass Organisierung und gemeinsame Aktionen uns die Kraft geben zurückzuschlagen.(...)
